The General of Office of the Ministry of Commerce distributed a circular on holding national cocoon and silk task conference on Feb. 24. The meeting is aimed at deploying“Mulberry from East to West ”project and making preparations for the promulgation of the eleventh Five-Year Plan of cocoon and silk industry.

According to the circular, the national meeting is to be held from March 27 to 30 in Guangxi’s Nanning. Responsible commercial sections in all provinces and regions, all provincial silk associations and corporations, leading silk enterprises, relative governmental departments and national medias will attend the meeting.
