According to Huzhou Agricultural Sector, the total volume of late-autumn silkworm seeds raised reached 49700 pieces in the region, up 119 percent from last year; The region produced 2050 tons of late-autumn cocoons this year, compared to 997 tons last year; The average output per piece of late-autumn cocoons was 41 kg, up by 2.6 kgs from that of mid-autumn cocoons this year.
It said that the practice of adjustment arrangement of raising autumn silkworms was successful.
