The gathering of mid-autumn cocoons has begun since Oct. 3st.
According to local press, the purchase price for fresh cocoons has hit historic record to exceed 1600 yuan. Despite drought, disease and pest attachs, averaged cocoon output per box is estimated to reach about 40 kg.
