Jiangsu Price Bureau released a circular on September 14th, 2006, deciding to raise silkworm egg price from next year.
The circular is to guarantee the supply of silkworm egg and promote the continuous growth in sericulturural sector.
According to the circular, price of silkworm egg variety in spring rearing season will be raised from 33 yuan to 39 yuan per box, and autumn variety price will be hiked from 30 yuan to 39 yuan per box.
