According to a circular distributed by China Economy Industry Development Corporation dated on Jan 30th,2007, as entrusted by China State Cocoon & Silk Coordination Office, the corporation will buy spot raw silk as state reserves.
According to the circular, the corporation is to buy raw silk with CIQ 3A or above from Feb. 1,2007. The price will start at 195000 yuan per ton and will be determined by quality. Minimum quantity for one purchase contract is 30 tons of raw silk.
