Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan held a meeting to discuss development of silk industry in Aral Sea Basin.

Representatives of district, heads of silk enterprises and specialists of the sphere participated in the event.

The session discussed perspectives and development of industry. The participants noted necessity to strengthen feeding base and increase of mulberry plants and stimulation of labour of silk-breeders.
