The main export markets for silk products were ranked stably, and the decline in exports had generally expanded, and had exceeded 30% in European and American markets. The top five countries and regions were: USA (down 32.9%, accounting for 36.84%), EU (down 30.47%, accounting for 24.99%), Hong Kong (down 43.65%, accounting for 9.74%), Japan (down 25.31%, accounting for 7.67%), Australia (down 26.06%, accounting for 3.48%).
1.3 Export situation of provinces and municipalities
The rankings of major exporting provinces and municipalities remained stable, and the decline in Guangdong Province continued to expand, reaching 48%. Exports under general trade accounted for more than 90%. General trade exports were US$507 million, a decrease of 35.97%, accounting for 91.66%; other trade exports were US$4.175 million, a decrease of 84.4%, accounting for 0.76%.
2.Import situation
From January to June, the import value of pure silk products was 103 million US dollars, a decrease of 13.73%, accounting for 0.94% of textile and apparel imports. In the same period, textile and apparel imports fell by 9.41% .
2.1 Import products structure
The decline in the value of three categories of imports has narrowed to varying degrees. Silk import value accounting for 9.84%, decreased by 8.07%, and increased by 2.24% on import volume, and its unit price decreased by 10.09%; the imports of pure silk fabrics decreased by 32.05%, accounting for 8.87%, and its unit price increased by 21.87%; Imports of silk products decreased by 12.03%, accounting for 81.07%, and its unit price increased by 9.77% .
2.2 Situation of import sources
The decline in imports of silk products from the European Union had narrowed sharply. The top five import sources of pure silk products were: EU (down 11.67%, accounting for 72.07%), People's Republic of China (down 26.76%, accounting for 9.17%), India (down 13.73%, accounting for 5.24% ), Uzbekistan (down 5.34%, accounting for 2.34%), ASEAN (up 9.33%, accounting for 2.18%).
2.3 Export situation of provinces and municipalities
The rankings of major importing provinces and municipalities remains stable, and the decline in the import value of silk products in Shanghai had narrowed from 21% last month to 6%. The details were as follows: Shanghai (down 6.01%, accounting for 76%), Guangdong (down 37.06%, accounting for 6.52%), Zhejiang (down 29.24%, accounting for 4.88%), Beijing (down 56.55%, accounting for 3.48%), Jiangsu (down 27.98%, accounting for 1.74%). The top five provinces and municipalities accounted for 92.62% of the country's total imports.
