Sichuan EW Textile Co., Ltd. founded in 1989, is located in Nanchong City, the sole silk capital in Midwest China. The company has silk industrial equipment covering the whole industry chain including warp and weft preparation, weaving, printing, dyeing and finished products production. Depending on the provincial enterprise technology center and the joint development of enterprises, universities and research institutes, the company produces high-grade silk fabrics, home-textile products, garments and tourist handicrafts that are mainly made of mulberry silk. Its products are mainly exported to Europe and America, and also sold to the main domestic home textile listed enterprises.
The company has advanced extra-wide electronic jacquard rapier silk weaving machines and related equipment for scouring, dyeing, printing and warping, which produces wide and narrow jacquard, printed fabrics, apparel fabrics, home textile fabrics and finished products etc.
The company explored a new development path to set a precedent for silk industrial tourism in the Midwest China and built the China Silk Capital Museum named by China Silk Association. The museum integrates silk history and culture propaganda, silk industrial production, silk products display. Since the opening of the museum, it has received about 400,000 tourists from both inside and outside the province, which enriches the connotation of "China's silk capital", enhances the popularity of Nanchong, promotes the silk culture and the local economic development.
The company passed the ISO9001:2008 certification in 2008. In the same year, it was rated as the first National High-tech Enterprise in the silk industry in Sichuan Province. Its technology center was recognized as Sichuan Enterprise Technology Center, and its design center was recognized as Sichuan Provincial-level Industrial Design Center. Moreover, it has successively won the Sichuan Provincial Innovative Product Award, National Silk Innovative Product Silver Award, National Silk Industry Annual Innovative Enterprise, Sichuan Province Science and Technology Progress First Prize, etc. Also, it has won Sichuan Famous Trademark, Sichuan Integrity Enterprise, etc. Its products have won many awards in design competitions hold by the China Textile Association and China Silk Association.
