Silk fabric stands out in the 2022 China International Fabric Design Competition

2022 China International Fabric Design Competition, as well as the 47th spring and summer 2023 China Fashion Fabric Design Competition, is sponsored by China Textile Industry Federation, and jointly organized by China Textile Information Center, National Textile Product Development Center, Textile Industry Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Textile Industry Vocational Skill Appraisal Guidance Center, China Fashion Color Association,etc. It is the most authoritative and influential professional event in the field of textile fabric design in China.   
Innovative and outstanding textile enterprises in cotton, linen, silk, wool, chemical fiber and knitting, etc. at home and abroad have participated in the evaluation. The fabrics for evaluation cover the terminal application fields of men's formal wear, fashionable women's wear, casual wear, sportswear, jeans, shirt, etc.
More than 4200 pieces of fabric participating in the evaluation have competed in fashion, functionality, ecology, and commerce. The awards are strictly selected by the expert panel. Among the 6 gold, silver and bronze awards that worth the most, silk fabrics possessed 4 including the only gold award.

“Jiangsu Sunshine Group 

   「Fabric: Clear」

Composition: Mulberry silk 100% (spun silk)
Characteristics: the fabric is produced with colored high-count spun silk by wool spinning’s weaving and dyeing technique, a hybrid of silky and wooly feeling. Its soft, smooth and skin-friendly style make it very suitable for use in close-fitting shirts, tops, skirts and so on.

“Zhejiang Jiaxin Silk Co., Ltd. 

  「Fabric: Pure and Simple 」

Composition: Cotton 57%, Viscose 21%, Mulberry Silk 20%, Mental Yarn 2%

Characteristics: The texture is loose and soft with excellent draping. Its tie-dye style with natural dyes presents the pure and simple elements of traditional handicraft. In addition, the bright light of gold and silver metallic yarn echoes the patterns,  enabling more rainy-like visual and level effects.

「Fabric: Shiny lustrine」 

Composition: Mulberry silk 80%, Chinlon 20%
Characteristics: This silk fabric remedies pure silk products’ disadvantages on strength and abrasion performance. Combining mulberry silk’s excellent handfeel with chinlon sequin yarn’s special gloss, the high-quality product has good gloss, handfeel and practicability. And also the paper-thin style fits with the fashion trends of the latest season.

「Fabric: Huangjin Gauze - Flowers&Cheers」
Composition: Mulberry silk 100% 
Characteristics: This fabric, made of 100% mulberry silk, successfully presents hollowing-out effect by applying jacquard machines with doup mounting, which has won National Utility Patent on unique weaving technique. Then it is processed with blue calico’s tie-dye technique to create multi-layer effect, and also the modern national style that combines with traditional Gambiered Canton Gauze.
