Wujiang Tongxin Silk Weaving Co., Ltd. was established in Suzhou, Jiangsu in 2004. After almost two-decade years, it’s products have extended to taffeta, doupion silk, chiffon, bourette, satin crepe, georgett and other pure silk fabrics, and also silk/cotton, silk/wool, silk/linen and other high-end interwoven fabrics.
With 93 employees and 40.2987 million of total assets, the company has totally 90 shuttle looms and 12 rapier looms at present, which produce more than 2 million meters of products per year. Its products are mainly sold in Shanghai, Shenzhen and other cities in China, and also exported to Europe, Asia, Africa,etc. Relying on the good quality and high reputation, its products are welcomed by more and more long-term customers.
The company has long been holding the idea of “Technological Innovation Drives High-quality Development”, so it has been continually enhancing its strength on new product development, keeping the development speed of 70-odd new products per year, the contribution rate of which in operation has risen to more than 50%. In 2018, the company won High-tech Enterprise certification, and was recognized as Suzhou Enterprise Technology Center.
In recent years, the company got 1 invention patent and 12 utility model patents of the new products, and won many prizes:
- In 2016, its product“Dyed Raw Silk and Silk/ Cotton Double-side Silk Fabric” won the Gold Award of the contest“Saint Joy” Cup Jiangsu Silk New Products.
- In 2016，its product “Bunch-Effect Grid Gauze by Structure-Change” won the Excellent Award of the contest“Saint Joy” Cup Jiangsu Silk New Products.
- In 2018, the company won Suzhou Silk Industry Innovation Award.
- In 2018, its product “Multiple-layer Silk/Wool Heavy Georgette” won Jiangsu Silk New Products certification.
