Guangxi Jiangyuan Cocoon and Silk Co., Ltd. is a company co-invested by (Jiangsu) Xinyuan Cocoon Silk Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Honghe Silk Co.,Ltd. and Guangxi Guihua Silk Co., Ltd. with total investment of 108 million yuan. The company was established in Sien Town, Huanjiang County, Hechi, Guangxi in September, 2007. Its main business covers cocoon harvested and dried and raw silk production and sale.
The company has a 8.3-hectare land, 36 sets of automatic reeling machines and 1150 employees. With 39 fresh cocoon purchase stations spread in 12 towns of the whole county and 10 advanced automatic fresh cocoon drying machines, Jiangyuan has high quality cocoon resources inside and outside the region. Meanwhile, the company has 36 sets of automatic reeling machines, in which 26 sets can produce high quality raw silk of Grade 5A and above. Thus its total annual output of raw silk reaches 900 tons. Also, the stable high quality of its raw silk is trusted and approved by high-end customers and the whole industry.
Jiangyuan successively obtained many titles, such as "Guangxi Agricultural Industrialization Key Leading Enterprise", "Guangxi Leading Poverty Alleviation Enterprise", "Autonomous Region Level Agricultural Leading Enterprise", "Guangxi Top 10 Cocoon Silk Processing Enterprise" and "Guangxi Poverty Area Leading Industry Enterprise". What’s more, the company won the third prize of Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award and got four invention patents by communication and cooperation with universities and research institutes on innovative production, education and research.
