Anhui Xinyuan Cocoon and Silk Technology Co., Ltd. was renamed from Anhui Haihong Silk Co., Ltd. in 2020. It is located in Huoshan County, Lu’an City, Anhui Province, a place where is appraised as Home of Sericulture. As a silk processing enterprise, it integrates sericulture, cocoon collecting, silk reeling and silk quilts.
At present, the company has a 2330 hectares of national-level sericultural standardized demonstration base. With the “company+base+farm+farmers” industrialization consortium business mode, it can produce 400 tons of raw silk per year, 100 tons of silk floss and 50 thousand silk quilts.
Beside that, many of its employees have technical titles, more than 36 middle and 3 senor. Its chairman Wang Haitao is a member of National Silk Standardization Technical Committee, and a member of National cocoon inspection expert group, and has ever been invited to participate in the drafting of 9 national (industry) standards including “Silk Floss” and “Coarse Raw Silk”. The company strictly implements the ISO9001 International Quality System and Quality Traceability System, that’s why its average grade of raw silk keeps stable above 5A. Meanwhile, the company has been awarded many titles: Provincial Demonstration Industrialization Consortium, Provincial Post-Doctoral Scientific Research Workstation, First “Employment Poverty Alleviation Base" in Anhui Province, Anhui Province Featured Tourist Commodities.
