Economic benefits of the enterprises
From January to June, the operating revenue of silk enterprises above designated size increased 14.01% year on year. Among them, the operating revenue of silk reeling, silk weaving and silk printing and dyeing increased by 15.06%, 15.66%, and 2.64% respectively. The profits of silk enterprises above designated size increased by 76.33% year on year. Among them, the profits of silk reeling, silk weaving and silk printing and dyeing increased by 128.86%, 62.42%, and 63.76% respectively.
Exports of silk products
From January to June, the export value of pure silk products was US$692 million, down 6.96% year on year. Among them, the export of silk filament was $187 million, down 16.25% year on year, accounting for 27.01%; the export of silk fabrics was $165 million, down 14.09% year on year, accounting for 23.91%; the export of silk madeups was $340 million, up 3.54% year on year, accounting for 49.09%.
